Lighouse Furniture Terms & Conditions These terms and conditions (“Agreement”) apply to the use of the Lighouse Furniture website and the purchase of any products from Lighouse Furniture. By using the website or purchasing any products from Lighouse Furniture, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.


1. Guarantee:

The goods sold under this agreement come with a five-year workmanship guarantee, applicable under normal usage conditions. If defects occur within this guarantee period, Lighouse Furniture will either repair the defects or replace the goods if repairs are not possible.


2. Information Accuracy:

Lighouse Furniture strives to provide accurate information. However, we cannot be held responsible for misprints or defects. You should check and confirm your order details when placing and signing off on the order. Lighouse Furniture will not be responsible for any incorrect orders placed.


3. Pricing:

If a product contains an obvious pricing error, Lighouse Furniture will correct it as soon as we are notified. We will not be bound by the incorrect price.


4. Payment:

A 50% deposit is required before production begins. Full payment of the product price and delivery charges (if applicable) is required before delivery or collection. The product remains the property of Lighouse Furniture until full payment is received. Please allow 3 business days for EFT funds confirmation. Goods will only be released for collection or delivery once the receipt of funds is confirmed.


5. Returns and Exchanges:

Customers may return or exchange their furniture purchase within 10 business days of purchase, excluding custom sizes and products. A collection fee, based on location, will be charged for returns. An admin fee of 15% of the order will be retained, regardless of whether the customer opts for a refund or replacement. 


6. Color and Texture:

The purchaser understands that colors and textures seen in pictures or on the website may vary depending on devices used. We recommend viewing the color and texture in person before placing an order.


7. Price Adjustment Policy:

7.1 Discounts: We do not offer retroactive discounts or price adjustments on past purchases. The price at the time of purchase is final.

7.2 Current Promotions: Promotions and discounts apply only to future purchases made during the promotional period. Stay updated through our website and newsletter.

7.3 Best Value Guarantee: We aim to provide fair and competitive pricing, offering high-quality products at reasonable prices.

7.4 Exceptional Customer Service: While we cannot adjust prices for past purchases, our customer support team is available to assist with any product-related inquiries or concerns.

8. Delivery:

8.1 General Delivery Terms:

  • Inspection and Acceptance: On delivery or collection, the purchaser or any person accepting the goods must inspect them. Acceptance of delivery is proof that the goods were delivered in good order.
  • Delivery Location: Delivery occurs at the purchaser’s front door. For multi-storey buildings, delivery is to the ground floor reception area.
  • Moving Responsibility: Lighouse Furniture is not a moving company and will not be responsible for damages occurring inside or outside clients’ homes or offices when moving furniture within the property.
  • Delivery Estimates: Delivery dates and times are estimates and may change without notice due to factors beyond our control.
  • Non-refundable Deposits: Deposits are non-refundable.

8.2 Third-Party Delivery and Client Responsibilities:

8.2.1 Third-Party Delivery and Damage: Lighouse Furniture will not provide credit or exchanges for goods damaged during delivery by non-accredited drivers or third-party services. 8.2.2 Client’s Courier Arrangements: Clients are responsible for arranging their own courier services for third-party delivery.

8.2.3 Courier Packaging: Lighouse Furniture does not wrap items for courier delivery. Clients requiring wrapping services must arrange this in advance, subject to an additional fee.

8.2.4 Proof of Collection and Acceptance: Signed delivery notes serve as proof of collection and acceptance of the goods’ condition. Once furniture is collected by couriers, Lighouse Furniture is not liable for damage during transit.

8.2.5 Lighouse Furniture Delivery Services: We offer in-house delivery services to ensure furniture is delivered without damage. If damage occurs during our delivery, Lighouse Furniture will take responsibility and provide suitable solutions.

8.3 Client’s Responsibility for Delivery and Fit:

8.3.1 Access and Measurements: It is the client’s responsibility to ensure furniture can be delivered through doorways, hallways, and any other access points into the intended room. Accurate measurements should be provided to avoid delivery issues.

8.3.2 Delivery Obstacles: Any obstacles, such as narrow corners or staircases, must be noted and communicated to Lighouse Furniture before delivery. Lighouse Furniture is not responsible for removing obstacles or modifying property to facilitate delivery.

8.3.3 Non-compliance with Fit Requirements: If furniture cannot be delivered due to access restrictions or incorrect measurements provided by the client, Lighouse Furniture is not responsible for additional delivery attempts or costs.

8.3.4 Assembly Requirements: Clients must inform Lighouse Furniture in advance if furniture needs to be assembled in the room. Lighouse Furniture cannot guarantee furniture will fit inside the room without prior notice of assembly requirements.


9. Coupons:
  • Representations: The purchaser acknowledges that no representations, warranties, undertakings, or promises on behalf of the company have been made except those expressed herein. The company’s sales staff has no authority to make or give any representations, warranties, or promises except those expressed herein.
  • Applicability: Coupon codes are only valid for purchases on the Lighouse Furniture website and cannot be used with other promotions unless explicitly stated.
  • Single Use: Each coupon code is valid for a single use per customer unless specified otherwise. Codes cannot be combined with other offers.
  • Exclusions: Coupon codes are not applicable to custom orders, bespoke products, or items marked as exempt. They cannot be applied to gift card purchases. 
  • Expiration Date: Each coupon code has an expiration date. It is the customer’s responsibility to use the code before it expires. Expired codes will not be honored.
  • No Cash Value: Coupon codes cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Non-Transferable: Coupon codes are non-transferable and can only be used by the individual to whom they are issued.
  • Restriction on Retroactive Application: Coupon codes and gift vouchers cannot be applied retroactively to past orders.
  • Gift Cards: Coupon codes cannot be used to purchase gift cards, and gift cards cannot be used to purchase coupon codes.
  • Modification or Termination: Lighouse Furniture reserves the right to modify or terminate coupon codes and their terms at any time without prior notice. Unused codes will no longer be valid if terminated.
  • Fraudulent Use: Fraudulent use of coupon codes will result in order cancellation and may lead to legal action.
  • Customer Support: For inquiries or issues related to coupon codes, customers can contact Lighouse Furniture’s customer support.
 
10. Gift Card Terms and Conditions:
  • Redemption: Gift cards can be redeemed for eligible purchases on the Lighouse Furniture website.
  • Non-Refundable: Gift card purchases are non-refundable.
  • No Expiry Date: Lighouse Furniture gift cards do not have an expiry date.
  • Single Use: Gift cards are valid for a single use only.
  • Not Redeemable for Cash: Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Coupon Code Exclusion: Coupon codes cannot be used to purchase gift cards, and gift cards cannot be used to purchase coupon codes.
  • Lost or Stolen Cards: Lighouse Furniture is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.
  • Non-Transferable: Gift cards are non-transferable and can only be used by the individual to whom they are issued.
  • Modification or Termination: Lighouse Furniture reserves the right to modify or terminate gift card terms without prior notice.
  • Restriction on Retroactive Application: Coupon codes and gift vouchers cannot be applied retroactively to past orders.
 
11. Contract:

This document serves as a contract. Once a deposit is made on a quote, order, or invoice, the rules herein will be binding.

12. Disclaimer:

Our furniture is designed for use in children’s bedrooms for decorative and functional purposes only. While we take great care to ensure safety, we cannot be held responsible for injuries or damages resulting from misuse. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to use the furniture safely and observe weight and age limits. By purchasing and using our furniture, you agree to hold Lighouse Furniture harmless from any liability related to the use of our products.

 
13. Furniture Not Suitable for Outdoor Use:

Our furniture is designed for indoor use only unless explicitly stated otherwise. It is not intended to withstand outdoor elements. By purchasing our furniture, you acknowledge it is intended for indoor use only. For furniture designed for outdoor use, please explore other options.
